Is he the former TWA commercial airline pilot who spent 30 years flying across the globe, meticulously preparing for every flight to ensure the safe arrival of hundreds of trusting passengers? Getting to Know Frank

Growing up, Frank had a dream of being a pilot. He was the kid hanging airplane models from the ceiling of his bedroom and fascinated with anything aviation-related. Fresh out of his flight school training at the age of 21, Frank earned a position flying corporate jets for Kaiser Industry. Within years, he was ready to fulfill his childhood dream as a commercial pilot with TWA.

Pursuing His Passions

During the early years, he still had plenty of free time in between flight assignments because he was lowest on the seniority list. He took up golf (he’s still a single-digit handicap) and began learning the finer points of fly fishing. Still, it wasn’t enough for this young man bursting with energy and curiosity. Frank started studying real estate and it proved to be a great fit for his driven personality and detailed approach.

“I learned there were a lot of comparisons to be made between flying and real estate,” he says. “As a pilot, people entrusted me with their lives. As a real estate professional, they are entrusting me with their livelihoods. Both take a lot of patience, preparation and problem-solving skills to put together the ideal ‘flight plan’ for success and make sure everyone arrives at their intended destination.”

When Frank left TWA after a long and successful tenure, it was the chance to focus full-time on real estate and really make a positive impact in the communities along the 680 Corridor. He’s lived most of his life in the East Bay and is a longtime resident of the Blackhawk community in Danville, where he enjoys the good life along with his wife, Sharon. Frank uses his local knowledge, real estate savvy gained over 40 years in the business and active involvement the Contra Costa County Board of REALTORS.® His focus is always on helping his clients achieve sound home buying and selling results.
