With a dynamic real estate career spanning more than three decades, Gretchen's professional experience had included roles as agent, office manager, and senior corporate executive. In November of 2005, Gretchen opened her first real estate office in San Ramon, California. With the belief in the American Dream and a mantra of "we help people get what they want," the company grew at a phenomenal rate and has been acknowledged as California's fastest-growing, full-service real estate company almost every year of their existence.
As of 2016, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) Drysdale Properties has grown to just under 1000 agents in 35 offices serving Northern California and Nevada. RealTrends recently honored BHHS Drysdale Properties, known locally as "The Drysdales," in the RealTrends' PowerBroker Report as the 92nd largest brokerage in the nation by sales volume. Additionally, the Drysdales were honored by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices as the 12th largest company in the network worldwide. Furthermore, the San Francisco Business Times voted Gretchen as one of the most influential businesswomen in the Bay Area. Gretchen received the prestigious National Association of REALTORS' Top 40 Under 40 Award, the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Contra Costa County, and has been the featured speaker at numerous industry events.
Gretchen is the proud founder of the California Community Foundation, a non-profit organization entirely funded by the agents in the company which give hope and funds to charities who are dedicated to improving lives of others. Gretchen is also active with Special Olympics and is proud to serve on the Northern Nevada and California Boards.
Gretchen has been married to the same guy for 30+ years and together they raised 3 children. Gretchen loves all sports and is a proud HORNET.
