My Real Estate career has come full circle. I began my career in Salt Lake City after graduating from Ohio State University. Over the many years that I have been actively involved in the profession I have had many various roles.
When I moved to Santa Barbara, California I became a broker and sold for real estate. I was recognized for my sales production both locally and nationally. Our manager died, and after some arm twisting I began my management career for the company.
During this time the real estate industry was evolving. Computers and voicemail were just coming into play along with fax machines. Imagine that! I was asked by my company (now a national company) to become a Training Director. In that capacity I trained sales associates as well as managers. I was awarded "Manager of the Year" with regularity.
My journey took me to San Diego where I became the Regional President of our company. This was a time of company consolidations and the company was sold. I returned to Santa Barbara and formed my own company and then was lured back into the position of General Manager in Northern California. I settled in Napa and fell in love with its ambiance: great scenery, world renowned wines, excellent dining, and its closeness to San Francisco. For seventeen years I was the Executive Vice President/General Manager for my present company. In June I decided to return to sales. I certainly have a wide berth of experience, but my real joy comes from helping my clients fulfill their personal dreams.
