Zumra Maner has been in real estate through her family roots in real estate development and investment. She has been involved in real estate consulting and has been operating a number of apartment buildings and properties in the US and overseas.
Before that Zumra was an IT/Strategy and Marketing professional and held various positions in Top 500 Global companies and institutions including IBM and United Nations. She holds an M.B.A from the University of Connecticut and Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas in Dallas. She speaks French and Turkish fluently.
As a residential and commercial real estate professional, Zumra is always looking to grow her business and brand both locally and nationally. Her professional focus is on sales and relocation services for clients arriving from other cities, states and overseas. She became a member of NAWBO in November 2016. Her goal is to engage mutually with other members for business growth and to receive and provide member referrals.
Zumra has been living in the San Francisco area for the past three years, relocating from New York. She loves hiking, performance arts, international events, ballet, opera, and international travel. She is passionate about animals and the empowerment of women and girls.
During her youth in Turkey, her family encouraged her to follow her dreams no matter where they may take her. She visited the U.S. as an exchange student when she was 17 years old. While working in corporate America, she came to the realization that empowering women is essential for the advancement of any community. She believes that when we educate and empower girls, we are ultimately doing this for society in general.
• Zumra has an 11 year old Jack Russell named Solo, who is a wonderful hiking companion. They love hiking together in the Marin Headlands where Solo can roam the hills of Marin unleashed.
• Her favorite restaurant on a cold and rainy day is Out the Door, where a heart-warming Vietnamese Pho hits the spot. She also loves A16 for a great thin crust pizza. A couple of her favorite coffee shops are Vive La Tarte and CAW Pacific.
